April 6th: Small Waves and a Sunset

What a nice evening yesterday. Warm temps and a cool breeze made for a comfortable sunset and night. Boat loads of people were sitting on the beach and playing in the water. Every wave along the beach had a cluster of people swimming and playing in the mild surf. Northern groins were murky while the southern groin was nice and clear. All along the new beach it’s basically a shore-break. There are some rideable waves on some of the northern groins. The south part still seems to be the spot. Fun waves tonight suprisingly. The clip doesn’t do it justice. Fun walls when sliding into the right wave. This is likely to continue until the front passes. The clear skies made for a nice clear unobstructed sunset. Shout out to Joey of Venicejetty.com for the report today that got me in the water. Traffic was nutty leaving the beach.
