Pass Surf on Saint Patrick’s Day
Waves were breaking in less than a foot of water in many places. The rock wall and the sandy area along the ledge was littered with seashells. That would be cool if we were hunting seashells. Instead we were trying to avoid getting pummeled into the bottom covered with sharp seashells. I even found a long metal rod (patio furniture) just sitting on the bottom in the sand. The waves were dredging along this steep ledge. From up toward Opal down to Shepherds waves were lining up. The tide changed it a lot, quickly.

Small Glassy Waves When I Got Here
A green sea turtle was swimming idly in the mellow surf. The water is clean and the turtles are in shallow water trying to stay warm. After approaching it on the inside and having it swim away, it decided to approach me when I got to the outside near the peak. Turtles are cool.
There’s a hint of exhaust in the air.
Spring break is basically here.
