Cornerstone Christian School in Dunedin started a canned food drop off and pickup. They have a box outside their building. It operates similarly to the way the book sharing box works at parks. The box operates on a trust system. You go to the box to get canned food if you need food.

I spoke to one of the people at the school today. She said the food box is often empty. She said it was primarily setup as tool for the children. She said they welcome canned food donations for the box. The food is there for the community on a first come first served basis. Feel free to drop off your extra canned goods in the box or with the school.
