Honeymoon Surfing: Epic sunset, dolphins, and a rainbow.
That front rolled through, things cleared out, and the surf got extra glassy. The incoming tide gave a bit of push to the knee to thigh high surf. An epic sunset, that unusual sight of a rainbow, and a dolphin swimming just a few feet from the lineup of surfers made this one of the best evening sessions of the the winter. January Cold Front
The day reached wave-heights of 13 feet at 11 seconds. It was a solid swell, our biggest of the season so far. We’ll have to watch how things go over the next couple months. The frequency of cold fronts could increase with the late start to the season.
