Crud on the Sensor

Honeymoon Island get’s fun surf now and again. The waves were fun on this second day of April in 2016. Tunes by Locolism.

Locolism

This is a video with a super rad song.  The song is by a band from the Dunedin area of the gulf coast called Locolism.  Their name is not Localism, its Locolism.  This is an awesome song about localism at surf spots.  California is notorious for localism. The video is a compilation of some of the clips from a season.

Honeymoon Island Sunset Photos – Feb. 24, 2016

Honeymoon Island State Park is a park in Dunedin, Florida with a quiet peaceful atmosphere.  It is a sea shell and sand dollar hunters dream.  There is an abundance of land based creatures who inhabit the island, and share it with the island’s many visitors.  The park asks that when you are driving the roads of the island that you travel within the posted speed limit.  This is not only for the safety of the visitors and the animals who may share the road with you on any given day, but it is also so that the roads will last longer.  Maintain the posted speed limits when traveling in the park.

Golden Hour: A small west swell at Honeymoon Island State Park.

Honeymoon Island pass is the ideal place for paddleboarding.  The waves on the shoals and in the pass break further than anywhere I’ve ever seen.
