Pass Surf on Saint Patrick’s Day
Waves were breaking in less than a foot of water in many places. The rock wall and the sandy area along the ledge was littered with seashells. That would be cool if we were hunting seashells. Instead we were trying to avoid getting pummeled into the bottom covered with sharp seashells. I even found a long metal rod (patio furniture) just sitting on the bottom in the sand. The waves were dredging along this steep ledge. From up toward Opal down to Shepherds waves were lining up. The tide changed it a lot, quickly.

One Of The Bigger Swells of the Winter Today
I was thinking about how I’m lucky I didn’t get more seriously hurt today. Not everyone got away unscathed. Cool surf clip compilation in the works.
