It might be worth jumping in the water today. The weather model says we’ll see small long period west northwest swell coinciding with south winds towards the beginning of the weekend event next Saturday and Sunday. The winds look all jumbled as it happens. Next weekend’s swell starts with long period small west swell, switching to short period north swell, finishing off with a basically flat gulf with light northeast winds. This type of system usually brings respite from the heat. Hopefully it pans out that way.
