Blue Skies and Northeast Wind in Early Fall

The swell was holding all morning through the outgoing tide on this early season cleanup. The bouys maintained a solid 5 foot at 7 seconds through mid-day, and into the afternoon. The swell was filling in from a west northwest direction. The swell was really fun, unusually fun for this early in the season. We may be in store for a decent season.

Cold Front: Saturday, 10.22.16

On saturday, after the low drags the cool air mass across the gulf, we are still looking at a powerful 988 millibar low pressure system in the northeast, and a cold front boundary almost as far south as the Pacific Ocean.
