These pictures are from after 3pm this afternoon in between the second and third t-groins at the north end of the park. It was perfect beach weather. The waves started out small, but as the tide started to push in and the swell started to rise, the surf grew, and became quite fun. Honeymoon Surfing: Epic sunset, dolphins, and a rainbow.
That front rolled through, things cleared out, and the surf got extra glassy. The incoming tide gave a bit of push to the knee to thigh high surf. An epic sunset, that unusual sight of a rainbow, and a dolphin swimming just a few feet from the lineup of surfers made this one of the best evening sessions of the the winter.
