The surf was fun down there. It was a fun day of offshore wind and head high waves. This one girl was walking past me on the beach downcurrnt. I told her to come paddle out on the other side of the jetty. She confidently joined me on the paddle out. As we were walking into the water I noticed she was right against the jetty upcurrent. I suggested maybe she walk down the beach some to be safe. I continued out. Moments after getting to the outside she shows up completely unharmed. She then proceeds to catch a head high peak off the tip of the jetty. Cool girl. The story is about the girl in the featured image.
