Surf Outlook: Thursday, 06-16-2016
The water vapor loop image is a fair depiction of the winds we’ve had today in the gulf. There’s just enough wind to make a rideable wave for a longboard or fun-shape surfboard. By mid-day tomorrow the surf will rise to around waist high, a bit better for shortboards. The GFS shows the waves coming directly from the west.

The surf is flat until at least next Thursday. There’s hardly a blip on the wind charts until something significant moves into the gulf next week.
