Skimboarding North Clearwater

The sea breeze has been generating fun skim during the evening time.  North Clearwater Beach has been breaking decently through the spring. Fun skim like this often depends on the water level at the beach where you’re skimboarding, and the amount and direction of swell. The contour of the sandbar directly off the beach will impact the amount of swell that reaches the beach uninhibited. But, the depth as you approach the beach and the ledge along the beach will have the greatest impact on wave shape.
