Sweet Tea at New Smyrna

The water at the beach today was a murky brown color, identical to sweet tea. The shade gave the inside an erie feeling. The thoughts of the shark attack last week kept repeating in my mind as the drift drew surfers closer and closer to the jetty (the location where the most recent shark attack occurred). Swirls in the water caused me to look twice and three times, on multiple occasions. The surf was very fun with good size, and the combination of summer sun and water temperatures in the low 80s made surfing conditions ideal.  A performance surfing seminar was put on today.  Unfortunately, a few hundred photos were lost to poor camera work, primarily, mistakenly putting the camera on full manual.  A few made it into the vault.
