A Slow Moving Cold Front
A slow moving cold front is forecast to move over the northern gulf this weekend. The featured image above shows the low starting over near Texas, then gradually moving over Florida. The wind will start southwest, switch west, then go northwest. The swell is forecast to hold for about 3 days with significant size on just about every day. There may even be a little tiny clean wave left bright and early Monday morning. The temps will be cooling significantly, so you’ll want the rubber for this swell, maybe even a 3 mil on the cold mornings or breezy days after the cool down. You’re going to need to turn the heater on for this one. It’s time for the wave machine to start bringing us swell again regularly. Winter is officially here, our Florida winters anyway.
