The much anticipated start of the Valspar Championship round one on March 08 is rapidly approaching, and attendees can look forward to something they’ve never seen before. He made the announcement on his Twitter account yesterday that he would be playing in two upcoming tournaments in Palm Harbor and Orlando, Florida. In this years Valspar Championship on the gulf coast he’ll be competing against players like Jordan Speith, Rory Mcilroy, and Sergio Garcia. Not completely unfamiliar to Innisbrook’s Copperhead Golf Course, Mr. Woods’ last round of competition on the course was back in 1996 for the JCPenny Classic in a mixed team event. It will be great to see such a well known and skilled golfer at this year’s Valspar Championship.
