On this breezy January day the surf was pumping into the beach around 5 feet at 8 seconds from the west.  So far this month we have had a quickly cooling weather patter, but on this day, and for this time of year, the weather was mild until the afternoon when the temperatures took a quick dive.  The breeze was moderate and the water was reasonably warm.  The green water waves were lining up quite well and the rides were incredible.
