With the water temperature hovering right around 52 degrees and air in the low 50s, the middle of the day, the time when it was warmest, was the time to surf. Compared to a lot of the country it was another beautiful day in paradise in west Florida. The low that produced this surf started out in the Gulf of Mexico. It crossed over the southern part of the state and emerged into the Atlantic. After entering the Atlantic it traveled along the east coast until smashing into the northeast. Sunset Photos – 03/04/2016
As the day drew to a close, and the sun began to set, the decent little swell from this cold front completely filled in. The air was cool, which kept the beach nearly completely empty, aside from a few photographers, fisherman, tourists, and sunset gazers braving the breezy sweater weather. The sound of the gentle waves lapping along the shore, and the yellows, oranges, and blues created the most relaxing evening with fun waves. Continue reading Sunset Photos – 03/04/2016
